The HSE Cultural Art Camp, initiated by the Wetland Cultural and Education Foundation, offers a transformative experience during the summer holidays, instilling values in senior secondary school students and university volunteers. Participants can explore Nigerian heritage through arts and culture with the Yemisi Shyllon Museum of Art or develop media and publicity skills at the Pan-Atlantic University's School of Media and Communication.
At the camp, participants are provided with a nurturing environment to cultivate virtues, master emotions, and forge a sturdy character through insightful seminars on morals, values, and engaging activities.
Select volunteers from diverse regions have the opportunity to enhance their leadership qualities, actively involved in coordinating daily camp activities for the participants.
We extend our involvement to parents of select participants, recognizing the importance of familial touch in a child's growth. Additionally, Opus Dei, an institution of the Catholic Church, is entrusted with overseeing the spiritual activities of the camp.
